Alice-Jeanne succeeds Bernard Lartigue

Dear friends of Mayne Lalande. We were all very marked by the suddenness of Dad’s departure.

I wanted to warmly thank you for all the attentions and the expressions of affection that you have had.

His absence is of course a huge void, but his intangible wine kingdom remains: Château Mayne Lalande.

To honor his memory, it is very natural that I made the decision to take over the management of the property, and to perpetuate his wine.

It’s a way for me to stay closer to him every day. The time for meditation must now come to an end. Because the vine and the wine do not wait, I have already taken up my duties in the continuity of dad. We were fusional, and although neither he nor I anticipated this fracture, he initiated me since childhood into the secrets of this château and this wine he created.

With all the actors of the castle, we follow in his footsteps together, in the vineyard and in the cellar. A paved road of very fine vintages awaits us.

Sincerely Alice-Jeanne LARTIGUE
