Bernard Burtschy:
In my 2019 Bordeaux Futures tastings, I was captivated by Mayne-Lalande. Bernard Lartigue has been making remarkable wines for many years, but the 2019 reaches an unprecedented complexity with an impressive vitality that opens a new era.

60% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 5% petit verdot, 5% cabernet franc
Purplish purple. So much finesse and complexity in the bouquet of Mayne Lalande 2019. This nose is captivating, as much by its intensity as by its multiple facets where fruits, spices, freshness and aging are revealed in harmony. Juicy, tasty and fresh attack. In the mouth, the wine continues in the same logic of harmony as the nose. He is charming, inviting, but also racy and lively. The temperament of the structure gives a hard time to the tannins, but they perform perfectly. They are thin but powerful. Once again, Mayne Lalande brilliantly reminds us that he is a great Bordeaux! 2024-2037.

A red with a deep, rich palate of blackberries and chocolate, as well as walnuts. It’s medium-to full-bodied. Creamy tannins at the finish.
Bettane and Desseauve : 16/20
Creamy, distinguished on the nose and on the palate, we succumb to the voluptuous tannins that stretch with elegance and sensuality. The final freshness wins the adhesion. To cellar in magnum because it will be a very good value for money.
Swiss Wine Newspaper, Bordeaux 2019 : 16/20
Spicy bouquet, pepper, currants, black cherries, cocoa. Good density, juicy, youthful tannins, fine acidity, ripe blackberries, currants, delicate herbs in the finish, good length.
